UNC's Williams anxious to be grandparent
North Carolina coach Roy Williams lost one of his dearest friends in June, when former Kansas athletic director Bob Frederick -- the man who gave Williams his first head coaching job -- died as the result of a bicycle accident. Losing someone so close has a profound impact on anyone's life, but Williams said it also has enhanced his enthusiasm for the pending fulfillment of a personal dream: becoming a grandparent.
