On the same night Rick Barnes went jaw-to-jaw with North Carolina coach Dean Smith during the game, Buckner delivered a defining moment in Clemson's basketball history. The score was 73-73 when Barnes gathered his team around him after a North Carolina turnover. He had an idea how North Carolina would defend the final possession. And that's the way it happened.
