A Long Way From the J.V. Team
When Roy Williams was growing up in western North Carolina, he figured he'd wind up working at a saw mill, like so many of his family members had. Then he wanted to be a high-school basketball coach. Later, he would've been content as Dean Smith's right-hand man for life at UNC. As it turned out, Mr. Williams is now the Tar Heels' head coach coming off of his second national championship in the past five years. (Wall Street Journal)
