Roy Williams sticks it to Coach K again
Posted Nov 17, 2009
When UNC won the battle last Friday for Harrison Barnes, it was another example of how Tar Heels coach Roy Williams is dominating Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski in all matters relating to basketball. The two coaches went head to head for Barnes, the 6-foot-6 forward from Ames, Iowa, regarded as the top recruit in the country. Williams became the Tar Heels' head coach in 2003. Since then, his team has won two national titles and also made one trip to the Final Four compared to just one Final Four appearance by Duke, in 2004.
