Tar Heels look for Deon Thompson's input
Posted Nov 19, 2009
When No. 6 North Carolina takes on Ohio State tonight at Madison Square Garden in the semifinals of the 2K Sports Classic, Thompson will be one of the key cogs in the undefeated Tar Heels’ attack. His status was strengthened by the way he finished the 88-77 victory against Valparaiso. Thompson scored a team-high 20 points, including 10 in a 23-8 run that gave the Tar Heels breathing room.
