Tar Heels win 'ugly' over Ohio State

North Carolina held a 19-point second-half lead on Ohio State Thursday night and appeared well on its way to a blowout victory. But the No. 15 Buckeyes made shot after shot down the stretch and triggered a frenzied ending before time ran out and the No. 6 Tar Heels held on for a 77-73 victory in the semifinals of the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic before 15,635 at Madison Square Garden.
