Ugly day for Eagles begins early

There were early signs that this might be a very disappointing day for the Boston College Eagles. UNC took its first possession and marched 70 yards for a score. And the Tar Heels were just warming up. Next possession, it went to 14-0 when a Tar Heel scooped up quarterback Dave Shinskie's fumble and took it 20 yards to the house. "It got ugly real fast," said BC coach Frank Spaziani, after North Carolina's 31-13 cakewalk. (Milford Daily News)
