Asheville junior Jeoffrey Pagan gets UNC football offer
Posted Nov 25, 2009
Asheville High junior Jeoffrey Pagan said Friday that North Carolina might be on the verge of offering him a football scholarship. There is no more verge. The Tar Heels have become the second Division I program to offer the 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end/wide receiver, joining Western Carolina. “It's exciting to have one of your players receive this kind of attention this early,” Cougars coach Danny Wilkins said. “He's going to get caught up in some fun stuff, some exciting stuff.”
