The fact that North Carolina put itself in a late-game jam Sunday night wasn’t nearly as big of an issue as what happened next. The 11th-ranked Tar Heels found their way out. “I was really impressed with my team for the last 10 minutes more than I have been at any time this year,” coach Roy Williams said after a closer-than-it-looks 80-73 victory against visiting Nevada at the Smith Center.
