Marcus Lattimore one of 7 finalists for national award


Byrnes running back Marcus Lattimore has been named one of seven finalists for the U.S. Army Player of the Year award. Lattimore was nominated for the award last month. The other six finalists are running back Dillon Baxter (Mission Bay, Calif.), offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson (Cretin-Derham Hall, Minn.), defensive lineman Ronald Powell (Rancho Verde, Calif.), wide receiver Kyle Prater (Proviso West, Ill.), running back Silas Redd (King & Low Heywood Thomas, Conn.) and wide receiver Robert Woods (Junipero Serra, Gardena, Calif.).
