Marcus Lattimore takes celebrity status in stride


Marcus Lattimore can’t hide, so he doesn’t try. Lattimore, the Byrnes High School senior running back who is one of the top players and most sought-after recruits in the country, is more than just a local celebrity. It’s regional at least. “Anywhere I go, somebody is going to know me,” Lattimore said. “I can’t go anywhere. If I go to Greenville or Spartanburg or even into Georgia, they know me.
