Heels returning to Charlotte

For the second straight year, and for the third time in six years, North Carolina will close out its football season with a bowl game in nearby Charlotte. The Tar Heels were selected Sunday afternoon to play in the Meineke Car Bowl, marking the second consecutive year that UNC has been picked for this game. UNC was also taken by this bowl back in 2004, when it was sponsored by Continental Tire. (Rivals.com)
