Javares McRoy commits to Texas Tech

Texas Tech strikes again in the recruiting race. On Saturday, the McRoy brothers from Lakeland, Florida committed to the Red Raiders. Ben is a senior and younger brother Javares in a junior. Both players are in the 5’9” 160 pound range. They both also have sub 4.5 speed. Ben McRoy has been timed as fast as 4.38 in the 40 and rivals.com officially lists his 40 time as 4.48. Younger brother Javares is said to have similar speed and is considered by some to be the better prospect.
