Posted Mar 9, 2008
Freshman Charles Cox barely missed out on a provisional mark in the 400 throughout the indoor season and a season of hard work came to fruition on Saturday as the freshman clocked a 46.75 at the Virginia Tech Last Chance meet. Cox's time ranks as the 11th fastest in the country to date. Several Tar Heels were attempting to improve on their provisional marks in the final tuneup before the NCAA Indoor Championships next week.
