Meineke Car Care Bowl Notes
After posting back-to-back eight-win seasons for the first time in more than a decade, North Carolina concludes the year with a return trip to Charlotte's Meineke Car Care Bowl vs. No. 17 Pittsburgh of the Big East Conference. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN at 4:30 p.m. from Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL's Carolina Panthers. This is Carolina's 27th all-time bowl game. (Tar Heel Blue)
