Pittsburgh put together a time-consuming, draining final drive, aided by one critical North Carolina mistake, to get the points that it needed last night to win the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Dan Hutchins, Pitt's kicker, booted his fourth field goal with 52 seconds left from 33 yards out for a 19-17 decision at Bank of America Stadium. (Winston-Salem Journal)
