Lucas: UNC-Duke By The Numbers


The last time Carolina played Duke as the nation's top team was on March 7, 1993. The Tar Heels won that game 83-69 over sixth-ranked Duke. Overall, Carolina has won five of its last six games against the Blue Devils when ranked first (A stretch that includes one win in 1986, a pair in 1984, and another win in 1982.
