Lucas: Focus Moves To 2010

In its previous two years of existence, three of the four teams participating in the Chick-fil-A College Kickoff have sported preseason top-10 national rankings. The fourth, Alabama in 2008, was ranked 24th in the preseason but eventually climbed to sixth in the final AP poll. The game, which will match UNC with LSU on Sept. 4, 2010, at the Georgia Dome, is essentially a bowl game that happens to be played at the beginning of the season rather than the end.
