Police: UNC Student Body President Killed by Shot From Handgun

The slain student body president at UNC was killed by a shot from a handgun to her right temple, according to a police report. The initial incident report on the death of Eve Marie Carson, a 22-year-old senior from Athens, Georgia, also states detectives are investigating two crimes: the theft of her Toyota Highlander sport utility vehicle and her slaying. Police have previously said they believe the killer was in Carson's car at some point.
