Marquis Rankin works through pain


Marquis Rankin is an athletically built 6-foot-1 with long arms and freakish speed and leaping ability. He's ranked No. 23 overall in his class and fourth-best nationally at his position by Scout. According to his coach, Will Robinson, Rankin has scholarship offers from Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. Robinson said North Carolina is interested. This season, Rankin is averaging 11 points and 5.3 assists. (Charlotte Observer)
