Bullock powers Kinston past Hairston, Dudley

Fans at the Smith Center on Saturday night got visits from a couple of ghosts of Tar Heel basketball future, as Kinston held off Greensboro Dudley 68-63 on North Carolina's home court. And if a couple of big-time performances were any indication, that future is bright. Neither Kinston's Reggie Bullock nor Dudley's P.J. Hairston, both shooting guards who have committed to Coach Roy Williams' program, disappointed the thousands in attendance. (Durham Herald-Sun)
