Top N.C. football recruits still weighing college choices

Roanoke Rapids defensive end Kareem Martin and Tabor City tight end Ethan Farmer are the only players rated among the state's top 20 prospects who haven't made an oral commitment to a major program. Martin, who has received 15 scholarship offers, has narrowed his list of possibilities to Duke, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. Roanoke Rapids coach Russell Weinstein said Tuesday that Martin will take his final official visit to UNC this weekend and then make a decision. (Fayetteville Observer)
