A Big Honor For Shelton, Overbeck

This week's selections of Carla Overbeck and Karen Shelton to the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame mark breakthroughs for the state's highest athletic honor. Overbeck is the first soccer player named to the Hall, while Shelton is the first field hockey coach or player to be chosen. Anson Dorrance was named to the Hall of Fame four years ago, but that was based on his amazing coaching record. (Tar Heel Blue)
