Jelena Durisic Named Tennis Co-Champion At UVa Winter Invite


UNC junior Jelena Durisic won her third match in as many days to claim co-champion accolades Monday on the final day of the UVa Winter Invitational. Durisic defeated No. 120 Whitney Wolf of LSU, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, and shared singles honors with Virginia senior Lindsey Hardenbergh. UNC swept five singles matches on the afternoon against LSU, with Zoe De Bruycker, Gina Suarez-Malaguti, Jocelyn Ffriend and Linzee Mabrey also picking up victories. (Tar Heel Blue)
