Why John Wall isn't playing here

In a column in USA Today last week, ESPN college basketball analyst Dick Vitale named [Kentucky's John] Wall his mid-season national player of the year. The freshman point guard also appeared on a regional cover of the Jan. 11 issue of Sports Illustrated that proclaimed him the best player in college basketball. So why isn’t Wall playing here? Each week it becomes more clear that the tradition-rich college programs located a few miles from where Wall grew up in Raleigh could have used his help. (Raleigh News & Observer)
