Tar Heel football faithful flopping down big bucks for Kenan remake

While UNC has long been known as a basketball school, Tar Heel fans are showing that they’re also willing to pony up big money to see the football team play in a renovated Kenan Stadium that features luxury suites and premium seats. UNC has secured signed statements of intent and deposits for 14 of the 20 proposed new suites and has oral commitments for the remaining six, says Rams Club Executive Director John Montgomery.
