North Carolina’s season is not over quite yet. In what may prove to be a season-changing victory, the Tar Heels used a 28-6 second-half run to blow open a tight contest with rival N.C. State and claim their first ACC road win, 77-63. UNC shot 57.7 percent in the second half, compared to the Wolfpack’s 29.0 percent. For the game, Carolina connected on 50.9 percent of its field goal attempts, while N.C. State managed just 39.0 percent
