2011 QB to choose Heels today?


Myrtle Beach (S.C.) High quarterback Everett Golston, considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation for the class of 2011, will make his college choice known today at 3:45 p.m. at a news conference at the school. Golson, who long has favored North Carolina, has written scholarship offers including Clemson, East Carolina, Duke, Stanford, Michigan and Virginia Tech in addition to the Tar Heels. Golson is expected to play basketball in college as well. (Raleigh News & Observer)
