North Carolina played No. 7 Duke even for nearly 34 minutes, but the Tar Heels’ season-long offensive woes prevented a much-needed upset from occurring at the Smith Center on Wednesday night as the Blue Devils claimed a 64-54 victory. Duke jumped out to an early 16-10 lead, but UNC kept it close with a strong defensive effort as the Blue Devils took a 28-27 advantage into halftime.
