UNC finally strung together enough key shots, exerted enough defensive effort, and displayed enough soundness of judgment handling the ball to grab a 77-68 win at Wake Forest last weekend. Now the trick is to nurture the tenuous competitive flame kindled at Winston-Salem in hopes of forging a strong ending to a disappointing season.
