Duke, UNC fans reveal mysteries of the brain

Studying rabid Blue Devil and Tar Heel basketball fans is helping Duke University psychologists and neuroscientists unlock mysteries of the brain. Researchers want to learn more about how the brain processes emotion and how it selectively stores good and bad memories. The knowledge could help improve treatment for patients with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder. (WRAL Sports Fan)
