Signal-caller Max Wittek (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei) has received a scholarship offer from the Trojans, ESPN affiliate Web site WeAreSC.com reports. "Obviously I think he's very excited about the USC offer," Mater Dei coach Bruce Rollinson said. USC joins Florida, UCLA, California, Florida State, Clemson, Duke and North Carolina in offering Wittek, who is originally from Connecticut. "What I sense from him is that it's one more piece to the puzzle," Rollinson said.
