Tar Heels Take Over Top Spot In National Women's Lacrosse Polls

The UNC women's lacrosse team took over the top spot in both national polls, released on Monday. UNC tops the Inside Lacrosse media poll. Carolina also takes over as the No. 1 team in the coaches poll for the fist time since 2007. Carolina garnered 11 of 12 first-place votes after beating then No. 1 Northwestern, then No. 4 Duke and then No. 2 Maryland in an eight-day span.
