Terrapins top Tar Heels 10-5 in ACC women's lacrosse finals


The University of Maryland women's lacrosse team won its second consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference championship and ended a two-game losing streak to North Carolina with a 10-5 win over the Tar Heels at Ludwig Field in College Park, Md., on Sunday afternoon. "I want to congratulate Maryland," UNC head coach Jenny Levy said afterward. "They came out from the opening whistle and attacked us." (WRAL Sports Fan)
