Four football players from N.C. State University were cited Saturday on drug charges. A Raleigh police officer working off-duty smelled what he thought was marijuana coming from an apartment, according to a search warrant released Monday. The officer searched the apartment and seized three bongs and three plastic bags and a cigar containing marijuana. Four men – all players on the N.C. State football team – were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
