Heels second to Alabama on Nike pay scale

Nike has been known to throw some money around and no one has benefited more than the University of North Carolina ($3.4 million annually). Even Phil Knight's beloved Oregon Ducks ($2.8 million) doesn't get the yearly apparel pay out as the Tar Heels. Well, now there's a new leader reaching into Nike's bottomless pit of money.
