Women's Lax To Host Virginia In NCAA Quarterfinals Saturday

The Carolina women's lacrosse team, which beat Navy 18-5 on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament first round, will host Virginia on Saturday May 22 at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field in the NCAA quarterfinals with a Final Four bid on the line. The third-seeded Tar Heels dominated the Naval Academy in the opening round on Saturday. Earlier this season in mid-March, the Cavaliers beat UNC 13-12 in overtime in Charlottesville.
