Tar Heels Fall To Duke In NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinals

The fourth-ranked University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team fell to a veteran fifth-ranked Duke side 17-9 in the NCAA quarterfinals Saturday before a crowd of 8,260 at Princeton Stadium. UNC saw its season end at 13-3 while Duke, which has lost only once since March 10, improved to 14-4 heading into the NCAA semifinal round next Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium.
