Tide transfer Justin Knox commits to North Carolina


Former Alabama forward Justin Knox committed today to spend his final year of eligibility with the basketball program at North Carolina, according to his uncle Darien Knox. Knox chose the Tar Heels over fellow finalist Georgia Tech and a number of other schools who showed interest, including South Alabama. "He's excited," Darien Knox said. "To go to North Carolina and play for Roy Williams, you can't ask for anything more than that." (Mobile Press-Register)
