Jenn Russell Nominated For Honda Award


UNC senior midfielder Jenn Russell is one of four candidates for the 2010 Honda Award given to the national player of the year, Honda announced on Thursday evening. The other three finalists for the award are Katrina Dowd (Northwestern), Brittany Kalkstein (Virginia) and Caitlin McFadden (Maryland). Russell, Dowd and McFadden all will take part in this weekend's NCAA championships in Towson, Md. (Tar Heel Blue)
