Brandon Tate aims to step up in his second year

Two steps forward, a second setback. Now, Brandon Tate heads toward the second year of his career with the New England Patriots. “I’m good,” the wide receiver-return man said. “I’m mentally strong. An injury, it happens in football. I just brushed it off and I’m out here now.” The week has been spent at organized team activities on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium with a group of Patriots, the bulk of them youngsters (like himself).
