Daniel Bard’s all set in bullpen

When Bard arrived last year, he had one thing going for him, and it was great - his 100 mph fastball. As the season progressed, however, Bard realized man could not live on cheese alone. So he altered his slider, aiming lower in the strike zone, and transformed the slurvy pitch into one with more downward bite. (Boston Herald)
