Salisbury safety Darien Rankin commits to UNC

North Carolina has added defensive backfield depth with a commitment from Darien Rankin of Salisbury, N.C., for the Class of 2011. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Rankin was also offered by North Carolina State and Utah. He becomes the 11th pledge for the Tar Heels. (ESPN.com)
