And the Tar Heels' coach used the opportunity to make his first comments about an NCAA investigation that came to light last week. "Think Ruffin would like to trade whirlwinds?" Davis quipped to laughter. It was the first public acknowledgment from a UNC representative that the NCAA is investigating players in the football program, but Davis said he couldn't go into details.
