Austin Rivers: July Athlete of the Month for Central Florida

You may have heard of a guy named Austin Rivers. He’s just your average teenager who likes to go to movies, cruise the town in his decked out Dodge Charger and hang with friends. Sounds like a typical guy right? That is until you put a basketball in his hands. Rivers is setting gymnasiums ablaze in July. He caught fire at the beginning of the month at the FIBA U18 Championships in San Antonio. Rivers sported the hot hand dropping 35 points in the semifinals game against Canada, setting an American record.
