Cam Thomas: 'Nothing illegal' about trip
Posted Aug 11, 2010
Former UNC defensive tackle Cam Thomas, who was a fifth-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in April, said former teammate Kentwan Balmer paid for him and UNC senior Marvin Austin to work out at the Proactive Sports Performance facility in California in the summer of 2009, according to a published report. When reached by phone Tuesday, Thomas declined to comment further on the story. "It was nothing illegal, but I don't want to be a part of that," Thomas said.
