Stetson Allie signs with Pirates
Posted Aug 17, 2010
Allie's pedigree is much the same as Taillon's. Also a right-handed power pitcher, the 19-year-old gave up a scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina to sign with the Pirates. In his senior season at St. Edward High School in Lakeland, Ohio, Allie went 9-1 with a 1.29 ERA and 134 strikeouts in 60 innings.
