A half team nearly beat the Tigers

In the end, LSU's offense did look better and actually had a nice balance of run - 162 yards on 36 carries -- and pass -- 151 yards -- with a good completion percentage by Jordan Jefferson, who was 15 of 21 with an interception and a perfectly thrown 51-yard bomb to Reuben Randle for the 30-10 lead. But then it all stopped as UNC coach went to work at the half with about half a team, and LSU's coaches went to happy hour. (Monroe News Star)
