Nets waive Sean May after power forward suffers stress fracture in foot

Sean May, whose chances of making the Nets were firmly in the slim-or-none category, suffered a stress fracture in his left foot during a workout last week in Chapel Hill and was waived by the team today, just 17 days before the start of training camp. Nets general manager Billy King explained that the team just couldn’t wait on the 25-year-old power forward. (Newark Star-Ledger)
