Carolina Field Hockey Travels To The White House

For some, a visit to the White House - and a chance to meet the President - is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The UNC field hockey team did just that on Monday, for the second time in the last three years. The 2009 Carolina field hockey squad joined other 2009-10 NCAA champions on the afternoon of Sept. 13 to be honored at the White House. Congratulatory words from President Barack Obama highlighted the reception on the South Lawn. (Tar Heel Blue)
